June 2023 Blog Income Report

Hey there! Welcome to my June 2023 Blog Income Report. This report is for my blog #1. Check out this post for the general explanation about my blogs.

My long term objective is to have various blogs and be able to make a living from them. Currently I have 3 blogs and I’ll refer to each one below:

Blog #1 – I have had it since 2019. Made some posts without taking into consideration SEO. I was not consistent in publishing content. From 2019 – 2022 I wrote 31 posts. Since February 2023 I have a plan and have been consistently posting every month. I am currently focused on this blog.
Blog #2 – This blog. I am currently only posting monthly updates for my blogging process but I am not creating content consistently.
Blog #3 – I bought the domain at the end of 2022. I have not published this blog. I have only written a couple of posts, but I am not consistently creating content.

Right now I am focused on creating content and getting organic traffic for Blog #1. My goal is to get at least 50,000 sessions to be able to apply to Mediavine. It has not been easy to work on my blog while having a full time job and 2 kids, however, one thing that has kept me focused is establishing goals every month.

The following information is related only to Blog #1.

Goals for June 2023 (Recap)

My goals for June 2023 were:

Publish 8 posts (FAILED – I published 7)
Income: $27.00 (ACCOMPLISHED – $37.2)
Sessions: 5,500 (ALMOST ACCOMPLISHED – 5.405)

I have not been able to accomplish my content creation goal for some months already, so I think I need to adjust thos goal for a more realistic one. I am happy with the income I had on June 2023. I am currently with Google Adsense and Ezoic. As for sessions, this month was Google Analytics Universal shutdown and even though I had installed GA4, I did something wrong and stopped receiving stats for 1.5 days. Taking this into consideration and making estimates of those 1.5 days, I did accomplish my sessions goals.
