August 2023 Blog Income Report

Hey there! Welcome to my August 2023 Blog Income Report. This report is for my blog #1. Check out this post for the general explanation about my blogs.

In summary, I have 3 blogs: Blog #1, Blog #2 (this blog) and Blog #3. This report is only for Blog #1.

I am focused on creating content to increase my sessions. I am looking forward to apply to Mediavine, but for that, I need at least 50,000 sessions. Keep reading to see how I did on August 2023.

The following information is related only to Blog #1.

Goals for August 2023

My goals for August 2023 were:

Publish 7 posts (FAILED: I published 5 posts)
Income: $32.50 (ACCOMPLISHED: $41)
Sessions: 7,634 (ACCOMPLISHED: 8,413)

Review

I think I am doing better than expected in my income and sessions. I am still struggling with meeting my publishing goal. I will continue working on this and try to find a way of meeting that goal.

August 2023 Sessions Report

Sessions: 8,413

I had been having steady sessions until the end of the month, where I started seeing a decrease on them. I started researching and found out that Google released a core update. I also found out other bloggers started seeing a drop in their stats, so at least I was not the only one. Even though I met my sessions goal, if my sessions continue to drop, I am not sure if I will meet next month’s goals.

August 2023 is now my best month in terms of all time sessions. and my second best month in all time income.
